Dr. Boston

Dr. Jane Boston

Dr. Jane Boston is a 1989 graduate of Louisiana State University’s School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Boston’s areas of interest are integrative medicine, including acupuncture, herbal medicine and nutrition and dental health. With seven cats at home, Dr. Boston earns that special designation we all strive for: Crazy Cat Lady. Dr. Boston fills her largely imaginary free time with gardening and maintaining many tanks of tropical fish.

 

 
Dr. Trakas

Dr. Nicole Trakas

A graduate of Louisiana State University’s School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Nicole Trakas has practiced clinical and emergency medicine since 1998. Internal medicine, dermatology, and the human-animal bond are among Dr. Trakas’ particular interests. In addition to several dogs and cats, Dr. Trakas and her husband have a son and are currently expecting their second child, a girl, in February 2009.

 

 
Dr. Readdy

Dr. Terri Readdy

Dr. Terri Readdy is a second-career veterinarian who truly enjoys working alongside families to promote the human–animal bond and appropriate healthcare for all creatures. She got her B.S. in biotechnology from RIT and spent 9 years as a research scientist before returning to school to earn her D.V.M. from Mississippi State in 1999. Married to Joe, the zoo includes 2 dogs, 2 cats, 3 birds and 2 teenage boys, adopted in 2006.  Free time is spent following her boys sports interests, church activities, and riding roller coasters. Dr. Readdy is a member of Association of Avian Veterinarians, Association of Reptile & Amphibian Veterinarians, Association of Exotic Small Mammal Veterinarians and the American Veterinary Medical Association.  She enjoys being a general practitioner of canine and feline medicine, and has extensive advanced training and experience in avian and exotic animal medicine and surgery.

 
Dr. Bub

Dr. Josh Bub

A graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Josh Bub has a special interest in internal medicine, surgery, and emergency and critical care medicine. While he's at work, his overly energetic dog Alli and mischievous cat Loki rule the house. In his personal time, Dr. Bub enjoys staying fit through running and weight lifting, scuba diving, hiking, skiing, photography, jazz saxophone, and most importantly, rooting for the Gators!

 

Dr. Brian Whitten

Dr. Brian Whitten grew up in Tampa and attended Jesuit High School. He then obtained his Bachelors and Doctorate degrees at University of Florida. His veterinary interests include radiology, pathology, emergency and critical care, as well as infectious disease medicine. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hockey, painting and writing music.
